You gotta watch this. It's truly unbelievable. The republican far-right lunatic fringe claim that President Obama is NOT a U.S. Citizen, that he was born in Kenya. What started during his campaign has now been pushed into the mainstream. Lou Dobbs is talking about it on both his TV and radio shows. Rep. John Campbell actually got 7 other people to endorse a bill called the "Birther Bill" which demands that President Obama prove once and for all that he IS a U.S. Citizen.
Now, you can see his birth certificate on the whitehouse.gov website, but they are claiming the document is fake. The state of Hawaii, where he WAS born, says it's the real thing. His MOTHER was a US Citizen, which automatically makes him one, too. What else do they want? Should the President of the United States come out holding it and pass it around during tonight's press conference? Could race have anything to do with this conspiracy?
